INTERPRETING THE MOMENT
We are pleased to present the new Season 2022-23 of the Franz Schubert Philharmonic at the Enric Granados Auditorium of Lleida. A season built with dedication and inspiration, with the aim of offering a wide range of soundscapes that make us experience the greatness of symphonic music by the best performers.
With this spirit, we will inaugurate the season following the harmonies of nature with an emblematic work from the repertoire, Symphony no. 6 Beethoven’s ‘Pastoral’ directed by Thomas Rösner. We will also draw the musical cartography of the classical Vienna of Schubert, Haydn and Mozart, the latter by three great piano ladies such as Elisabeth Leonskaja and the sisters Katia and Marielle Labèque.
Our principal conductor, Tomàs Grau, will illuminate the symphonic territories traced by Schumann and Brahms, and we will have the honor of collaborating for the first time with the great violinist Joshua Bell performing Mendelssohn’s sublime Violin Concerto.
To close the season, we will delve into the fascinating landscapes of the superheroes of the Marvel and DC factories, in a concert dedicated to the music of the films of this universe written by such legendary composers as John Williams, Danny Elfman or Hans Zimmer.
We are very excited to share these soundscapes that we now present to you and to continue writing, with our fans, a map of musical memories and emotions.
Happy Season!
