Born in 1804, a few years before <strong>Schumann and Mendelssohn<\/strong>, Farrenc fully belongs to the universe of early romanticism, but with a distinctive mark that makes her unique. <strong>Equilbey and the orchestra<\/strong> reinforced the vital and dynamic reading of <strong>Farrenc&#8217;s first symphony<\/strong>, with a <strong>firm commitment<\/strong> to bringing the music of this great composer closer to the public.<\/p>\n<p>In the second part, and to commemorate the centenary of the composer&#8217;s death, the performers performed <strong>Faur\u00e9&#8217;s Requiem<\/strong>, one of the most striking works in the repertoire.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Palau Chamber Choir<\/strong> stood out for its admirable precision and taste.The singers achieved delicate harmony in the <em>Offertoire<\/em> and the sopranos shone exquisitely in both <em>In Paradisum<\/em> and <em>Agnus Dei<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, the baritone <strong>Jos\u00e9 Antonio L\u00f3pez<\/strong> sang with great expressiveness and emotional neatness the <em>Libera Me<\/em> and <strong>N\u00faria Rial<\/strong> brought a moving delicacy to the <em>Pie Jesu<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>A night of live music in which the Franz Schubert Filharmonia and all the performers dedicated the concert to the people of the Valencian Country.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
