With sold-out halls, the <strong data-start=\"1837\" data-end=\"1846\">Palau<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"1852\" data-end=\"1872\">Teatre Tarragona<\/strong>, and the <strong data-start=\"1882\" data-end=\"1909\">Auditori Enric Granados<\/strong> became the perfect setting for evenings to remember.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1964\" data-end=\"2195\">Under the direction of <strong data-start=\"1987\" data-end=\"2004\">Rune Bergmann<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"2010\" data-end=\"2040\">Franz Schubert Filharmonia<\/strong> became deeply emotionally involved, approaching <strong>Rachmaninoff<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong data-start=\"2109\" data-end=\"2121\">Sibelius<\/strong> without artifice, with truth, depth, and an absolutely sincere intensity.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2197\" data-end=\"2685\">The great emotional centre of the evening was <strong data-start=\"2243\" data-end=\"2260\">Anna Fedorova<\/strong>. Her performance of <strong>Rachmaninoff\u2019s Piano Concerto No. 2<\/strong> was striking: strength and delicacy, risk and control, absolute technique at the service of raw emotion. One of those balances achieved only by <strong data-start=\"2464\" data-end=\"2482\">great pianists<\/strong>, capable of moving audiences without excess and impressing without ostentation. At the <strong data-start=\"2570\" data-end=\"2600\">Franz Schubert Filharmonia<\/strong>, we are honoured by her friendship and hope she will return to our season very soon.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2687\" data-end=\"3009\"><strong data-start=\"2687\" data-end=\"2704\">Rune Bergmann<\/strong> brought the evenings to a close with a powerful and organic reading, of great internal coherence, of <strong data-start=\"2806\" data-end=\"2847\">Sibelius\u2019s magnificent Fifth Symphony<\/strong>. The <strong data-start=\"2853\" data-end=\"2882\">sections of the orchestra<\/strong> engaged in dialogue through <strong data-start=\"2911\" data-end=\"2944\">delicate nuances and textures<\/strong> that painted for us the inner landscape of the Finnish composer.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3011\" data-end=\"3131\">There are concerts that pass by; there are others that remain in our memory. These will undoubtedly be among the latter.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-15318\"
