In the first concert of 2024 by the Franz Schubert Filharmonia at the Palau de la M\u00fasica Catalana, the orchestra yesterday presented Beethoven’s Triple Concerto<\/em> and Brahms’ Fourth Symphony<\/em> under the baton of maestro Salvador Mas, who with all his mastery, he accompanied with rigor and knowledge the components of the Ludwig Trio: Abel Tom\u00e0s, violin, Arnau Tom\u00e0s, cello, and Hyo-Sun Lim, piano, in the first part, and offered a musical lesson in the second.<\/p>\n

The three components of Trio Ludwig faced with determination their interpretation of the Triple Concerto, both beautiful and difficult in its rich instrumental combinations. Arnau Tom\u00e0s offered us a round and full sound; his brother Abel Tom\u00e0s the elegance of sound and the pianist Hyo-Sun Lim the grace and finesse in her phrasing.<\/p>\n

In the second part, maestro Salvador Mas at the head of the Franz Schubert Filharmonia gave us his reading of Brahms’ Fourth Symphony. A symphony built on a robust and deep spirit, with rich sonorities of strings and woodwinds, as well as a grandiose and noble feeling in the brass that culminated in a striking Finale.\u200b<\/p>\n
