Music and happiness with Lisa Batiashvili

Last Tuesday at the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Franz Schubert Filharmonia opened the celebrations of its 20th Anniversary with a concert of high sensitivity and intense emotions. Under the baton of Tomàs Grau, and with the presence of violinist Lisa Batiashvili, the evening became an authentic celebration of the power of music to make us happy.

Batiashvili captivated with a Mozart full of delicacy and fantasy, where each phrase, each articulation, was cared for with exquisite elegance. The orchestra responded with pianissimos of exceptional subtlety, creating a refined dialogue full of complicity with the soloist.

In the second half, Grau conducted Beethoven's Fifth Symphony with vibrant intensity. The orchestra, solid and full of color, displayed all its timbral richness with a version that made the modernist hall vibrate. An evening to remember, full of beauty and enthusiasm, which marks the beginning of a very special anniversary for an orchestra that loves music and lives to share it.
