Love for Music with Mahler’s Second

Last week we experienced moving and historic evenings: the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Franz Schubert Filharmonia. With all the halls filled to capacity, the musicians of the Franz Schubert Filharmonia and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, under the inspiring direction of Tomàs Grau, shared a musical experience full of dedication and emotion.

Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 ‘Resurrection’ enveloped us with an intensity and strength that were truly overwhelming. Grau offered a profound and richly nuanced interpretation, with an orchestra and choir fully committed.

Katja Maderer and Martina Baroni moved us with their voices, and the National Choir of Colombia filled the halls with their musicality, energy, and timbral richness.

Unforgettable evenings that symbolize the power of music as a bond of brotherhood between cultures. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for accompanying us throughout these 20 years and for continuing to share with us this future filled with love for music.
