The waltz of a consolidated master

This January, the Franz Schubert Filharmonia presents two jewels of the musical repertoire. Two works of sublime beauty with emotional, entertaining pages and written with the art of two geniuses like Tchaikovsky and Mendelssohn.

The excellent Romanian violinist Vlad Stanculeasa will lead the Franz Schubert Filharmonia with the sensitive and energetic gesture that characterizes him.

Tchaikovsky was already a renowned composer when he composed the Serenade for Strings, a sort of "homage to Mozart".

Tchaikovsky always considered this work, with lyrical, romantic pages and a delicious waltz in the purest Viennese style, as one of his most beloved compositions, as he himself said 'The Serenade, I wrote it out of an inner impulse. It is a work written from the heart, and for this reason I dare to hope that this work is not lacking in artistic qualities'

Currently, the Serenade is one of the most beloved works by audiences around the world.
