The 2023-24 Season at the Auditori Josep Carreras and the Celler of Vila-seca

We are pleased to present the 2023-24 Season of the Franz Schubert Filharmonia at Vila-seca. A season that will bring the best symphonic music to the town and that will have two unbeatable venues such as the Auditori Josep Carreras and the Celler de Vila-seca.

A season at the service of the great musical repertoire with composers such as Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Schubert and Beethoven and which will bring, for the first time to Vila-seca, leading figures on the international scene such as the great maestro Krzysztof Urbański, conducting Tchaikovsky’s Fourth Symphony. We will experience live works as important as Schubert’s Symphony No. 9 ‘The Great’, we will be thrilled by the virtuoso violin of Sayaka Shoji and we will enjoy great film music with the concert dedicated to the BSO of the Marvel and DC universes.

We also present the chance to enjoy the wonderful score of The Four Seasons Recomposed by Max Richter accompanied by the dancers of the company PAR en Dansa, who will draw the movement of this score with a choreography created by the prestigious choreographer Ilya Jovoy, in an incomparable setting, such as the Celler de Vila-seca.

With Tomàs Grau, principal conductor and artistic director of the Franz Schubert Filharmonia, we will commemorate the two hundredth anniversary of the premiere of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, together with the Cor Madrigal, in a concert that is set to be the great musical event of the season.
