Programme notes
How about listening to Barcelona at the Concert Hall of the Palace where we deploy our own production concert season, the same concert for piano and orchestra -the number 24 in C minor by Mozart that the legendary pianist Stephen Kovacevich play accompanied by a few weeks after the Los Angeles Philharmonic, his hometown?
Kovacevich live this collaboration with an orchestra of young poles almost as his farewell to Catalonia. 24 Mozart is a concert pianist and conductor has performed recently in frames of great relief as the festival of Verbier, but oddly enough this will be his first performance at the Palace guest soloist format and not in concert. Talking about it is appealing to a legend of pianism in the second half of the twentieth century. This concert, complete with a spectacular third Bruckner symphony under the direction of Thomas Grau, is without a doubt one of the major events for next season. Unmissable.
