Decisive music at the Palau de la Música with the Messiah

Handel picked up the pen and drew a few notes. One by one, the signs took shape with magical speed. He could not stop, he went on like a ship with the sails inflated by the storm. Around him the night was silent and the damp, silent darkness fell over the great city. Next Sunday, December 12 at 5:30 pm, the Franz Schubert Philharmonic and the Francesc Valls Choir of the Cathedral of Barcelona under the baton of Paul Agnew, musical director, together with William Christie, of the famous ensemble Les Arts Florissants, will perform this eternal work in the Palau de la Música Catalana.
