The Orquestra Simfònica Camera Musicae are pleased to present an extraordinary concert focusing on the figure of Bach with an unusual program and an unbelievable formation where we can see up to 4 grand pianos simultaneously on the stage of the Palau de la Música Catalana.
The spectators of this astonishing program, which has not not been played at the Palau de la Música since 2001, will be able to enjoy the wonderful concerts for 1, 2, 3 and 4 pianos and orchestra of J. S. Bach.
In this special program, conducted by the maestro Jordi Mora, we can hear the exceptional pianists Albert Guinovart, Alba Ventura, Sebastian Knauer, Marc Heredia, Katia Michel and Marta Puig gathered in a single concert.
Of the many compositions of this genre that Bach wrote, have been chosen the most renowned and featured concerts, which will allow the spectator to enjoy a unique and unforgettable evening.
As an opening for this unprecedented musical party, one of its brightest Brandenburg concerts will be played: the number 3 in Sol major.

Biography Jordi Mora
Born in Barcelona. He studied orchestral direction mainly with Sergiu Celibidache. He has been the principal conductor of the National Orchestra of Greece and the Orquesta Sinfónica del Vallés.
As a guest conductor, he regularly directs in Germany, Spain, Argentina, Lebanon, Italy, USA, Russia, Romania, Greece and Venezuela.
He performs a wide pedagogical task, especially in Spain, Switzerland (Foundation Résonnance), Argentina (Fundación Cultural Argentina, Lyric soul), Norway, Holland and Germany, putting into practice the system of the phenomenology of music, and that for both directors, as instrumental soloists, singers or chamber groups.
He is professor of orchestral conducting at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (Barcelona) and guest professor of the Grieg-Akademie in Bergen (Norway). He is currently the director of l’Orquestra Simfònica Segle XXI and the Bruckner Akademie Orchester, orchestra with he is making the integral of the symphonic work of this composer.
In 2014 he was named principal guest conductor of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Lebanon, where he has expanded his repertoire especially with the Schostakovich symphonies.
He has recently directed the Orquesta Nacional de Argentina and the Sinfónica Simón Bolívar of Venezuela. From 2014 to 2017 he was the main guest conductor of the Orquestra Simfònica Camera Musicae (Catalonia).
